What square metre rate do you charge to build?
This depends on a number of variables such as what the house is constructed of,
how complicated the design is, the level of chattels required inside etc. Suffice
it to say we endeavour to secure the best price possible for our clients.
Do you build out of town?
The demand for our builders in Christchurch is very high. As such we are currently
only building as far out as the Canterbury or greater Christchurch area i.e. areas
such as Tai Tapu, Lincoln, Leeston, Rolleston, Methven and Amberley.
What is the time frame from signing a contract before we can move in?
It‘s approximately 6 months.

Do you charge to design a new house?
If we own the land then the design price is included. If not then we have a standard
design fee of $2000. We discuss with you what you want your design to include and
how you would like to use your budget. All our design work and costing are done
in house so we can easily determine whether or not objectives can be met. We will
work with you to design concept floor plans, elevations and finally a fully interactive
computer model of your home. It means you can see your home on the site and even
have a walk through before the first concrete is even poured! Not bad for $2000.
What is the difference between a house and land package and a build contract ?
A house & land package requires a 5% deposit and a one off payment at the
end when the house is handed over. There is a fee included to do this. A build contract
requires a $10% deposit and progressive payments during the construction of the
house.
