17th December 05
People often talk about “drawing a line in the sand,”and
at this time of the year Christmas Day is that line for us. With
one week to go, our office and builders are completely focused
on getting the homes completed for those clients who wanted to
be in before Xmas. It still amazes me how the project managers
and the builders manage to bring it all together in such a short
period of time. No mean feat I can tell you with so many trades'people
involved. It's not like selling candy over the counter or
a TV out of a shop! Which brings me to a question that clients
often ask me when building a new home, and that is “how long
does it take for you to build a home?”My response is generally
three months from the time we get the building permit, and in most
cases I am not far off. However there are always exceptions to
the rule and these would apply to hillside and more complicated
homes. So when you are trying to plan your next home give my team
a call to discuss any questions you may have. Have a great weekend
and good luck with your Xmas shopping.
