I love this time of year because I get to take our key builders, sub-contractors and suppliers on a mystery bus trip which culminates in the presentation of two very sort after trophies; ‘The Builder of the Year'and ‘The Sub-contractor of the Year'. Last Friday I headed off at 7.30am with 50 guys and ended up in Hanmer where we did some strenuous mountain bike riding, (I say strenuous as some of these guys haven't been on a bike since they left school!) and finished up with a swim in the hot pools and lunch. During lunch our General Manager (Richard Field) announced the winners of the trophies. I would like to congratulate James Richardson (Builder of the Year) and Wayne Mahon (Sub-Contractor of the Year) on winning the trophies and for their outstanding efforts in helping our clients during the year. I would also like to thank all the other guys for their efforts during the year and contributing to a fantastic day. I hope you have all recovered. I'm already thinking about next year, someone suggested parachuting!
