Should I buy an existing home or should I build??? That is the question a lot of prospective buyers who visit our show homes are asking. I would suggest that when buying an existing home you need to take into consideration whether you need to upgrade or renovate items such as kitchens, bathrooms, floor coverings, internal or external paint work, as these can be expensive to replace . And of course is the price on the home that you want to purchase realistic if you take all of these things into account. The advantages of building are that you get to choose your site and you get exactly what you want!!! I must say that now that I have moved into a new home it is great not having to think that I have to do any renovating or painting. My days of that are over, thank goodness. I've said many times “why buy old, when you can have new?”So in answer to the question I say build!! build!! build!!  Preferably with Horncastle Homes.
