I love this time of the year, because I get to take our key builders, sub-contractors & suppliers on a mystery bus trip which culminates in the presentation of two very sort after trophies; ‘The Builder of the Year'& ‘The Sub-contractor of the Year'. This is the fifth year that Horncastle Homes has been doing this trip and I must say the competition is getting fierce. Last Friday I headed off at 7.00am with about 60 guys to a mystery destination. After doing a number of activities at different destinations we ended up at an amazing place called Washpen Falls for lunch. After lunch, our General Manager (Richard Field) announced the winners of the trophies. I would like to congratulate Dean Richards on winning the ‘Builder of the Year'. For those of you who don't know, Dean is the oldest serving builder at Horncastle Homes & does a wonderful job. I would also like to congratulate Michael Wright for winning the ‘Sub-Contractor of the Year'. To the rest of the guy's, thank you for your efforts during the year & contributing to a fantastic day.
