A few days of sunshine and the sound of lawn mowers is music to my ears. Why? Because at this time of year at Horncastle Homes we have a saying, “when you can hear the lawn mowers - we sell houses!” Last weekend was no exception. The sales team and I had a great weekend with new inquiry on our homes and a number of sales being made. It’s not rocket science, why would anyone have wanted to go out in last month’s weather looking at houses or anything for that matter? I struggled to go and get the groceries! The media still persist in knocking the confidence out of people and I have lost count of the number of people who have said to me “I’m sick of the negative news, it’s not that bad”. How ever spring has sprung, I’m feeling positive and I’m looking forward to the lead up to Xmas. It’s scary isn’t it? But Xmas is just around the corner and we’ve started planning for the homes that we need to have completed before the magic day for our clients.
