What a great start to the year I've had. I'm pleased I came back early as there were so many people looking at our ‘Turn Key'homes, and as you can see from this weeks advert a number of these houses have gone under offer. This begs me to ask the question that everyone keeps asking me!!! “What is going to happen this year as far as the house market goes???”It keeps dumb founding the financial experts with properties going up an average of 15 percent last year and sales still strong. This was the complete opposite of what they had predicted at the beginning of last year. I would suggest after speaking with agents who have been in the industry far longer than I, and who I consider have more expertise than the financial guru's, that the safe answer is; “the Christchurch market will possibly plateau out for  a while and then it will be back to normality.”The only thing that I can be certain of is that if we produce quality homes people will buy them.
