The weather has certainly dominated the news for the past few weeks. If you're like me, I've just wanted to head home to enjoy being with my family and a warm house. This time last year I was living in an older home, I felt the cold and I hated being cold! Since moving into our new home I have certainly felt the difference. The obvious differences are having double glazing and full insulation, not to mention the heat pump and some under floor heating. It has certainly given me a better understanding on how to heat a home, as this is one of the major concerns that my clients have when discussing the design of their home and the spec. In fact it is probably the most asked question my sales team has to answer, “How do I heat my home and how much do I need to spend?”It is so  important to get the right answers. The benefits of owning a new home at this time of year are immense. The good news is that we are past the shortest day and we're on our way to spring!!
