16th February '08
Life is full of highs and lows and this last week I experienced both. The first, a small high I must say, was having a win at touch rugby with my old school mate’s (they don’t come very often) and the second high was attending my cousins wedding in Sydney, a great day and a very happy time. The low was hearing the news of two people who had passed away whom I knew. When things like this happen it really gives you a wake up call to reflect on the good things in life and take time to smell the roses. It’s probably why I have been avoiding reading the paper or watching the news on TV for the rest of the week as I get sick and tired of the media focusing on the negative things that are happening. There are plenty of good people out there and plenty of good things happening in this country, maybe someone should start a ‘good news’ paper or TV channel? If you are out and about this weekend and want to experience a real high then I urge you to visit our open homes this Sunday or even better our three show homes which are open all weekend. I’m there this weekend and I know you will be impressed with these homes. I hope you all have a great weekend!!
